On one hand Euan, take the cash, while the cars still running and not costing you, sort debts/mortgage/danielle (lol)

On the other, keep it, something goes wrong and you need to spend another 500 quid? 1000 quid?

It's a v.hard decision to do, but I think you already know the answer, just too afraid to do it as the car means allot to you!

See you tommo anyway

I really will never understand how decent spec Sapphs can go for so little money, 10k for a car like this is mega cheap imo!!

I mean, seriously, what else on the road is going to stay with you with this sort of power unless it costs hundreds of thousands of pounds??

Good luck with the sale Euan if you do decide to sell but i do think you'll regret it come next summer!!

Very tough call ...............

But money talks and bullshit walks an all that

If theres a firm offer of 10k for a saph then i admit id be selling it myself and i love cossies

Miss my old saph badly at times and i was gutted to see it drive off in honesty

Its all very well saying keep it keep it but if its not getting used much then whats the point when there is bills to pay etc etc

As mentioned there IS a sigh of relief when you have sold tho as you do say to yourself least if summit breaks it wont rape the wallet anymore ............ it will rape the new owner

have to agree cars are like drugs try as you will they are a hard habit to break..i was adamant i wouldnt get another car bought a scoob running 430bhp and thought lets have a fmic and cold air kit now maf scaling is all over the place wont idle had to park it up and need a simtek ecu to go mafless so all in all a quick 4.5k
we are all the same we spend thousands and thousands on these cars and its all dead money and if u need the cash then take it quick and de stress it really isnt worth it and at the end of the day yes its a nice fast car but it is only a sierra and mine is only a scoob these are not in the same league as porsche etc they will only ever be a souped up ford or a souped up scoob and in todays market i have to say ur lucky someone has 10k to spend
sell it quick and be done with it imho

probably not. as always there will be pages and pages of "what a bargain, if i had the cash id buy it" "what a bargain, good luck with the sale" and "dam, if only this had come up for sale last week when i had the cash" etc etc etc comments but no actual genuinely interested non timewasters.
by the way if i had the cash id also buy it , but i dont so im out

Dunno whether to say or

Your car do what you like, but are you sure you are doing the right thing? Put it away for the winter and see how you feel in apri/may.

Pleased you sold it in the end - was in awesome car, but like you said your heart wasn't really in it anymore.

As for the £10K, id spend 2K and get yourself one of those cheap track cars you were talking about, and get the rest invested in the stock market/high interest account.

All the best.

Oh well euan end of an era mate, trust me tho it will be a big loss but such a big weight of your shoulders, wether theyr running great or not your always waiting on the next thing to break, its a fact.

Get a bike mate and get toff to show you how to ride the fucker, best value for money in the whole petrol head world, thats a fact also
