my mate just bought a stage 1 very clean for 4k ! and my 480 hp only cost 8k ! needs to be a special saph to demand 8k. as for euans its a good price and ive offered the 10k if he will sell.

well problem is my cars got a 99 block in on .5 bore so its pretty much fucked my hopes of 550 hp ! and im not doing bottom end aswell will just end up a money pit. if euan will sell me it then il be putting mine up for sale or maybe keep it as donor

I think breaking on a saph is a tough option, as the shells themselves are pretty worthless, and it has no kit like a 3dr, so your litterally just selling the whole shell for like 1k tops?
Engine complete for 5k? is that including management?
If so you need to make 4k+ easily, wheels and brakes? 1-1200k for both possibly?
then what? i think to make it worth braking you need to make 12-13k to make it worth the agro of braking.
If it has a proper beam and diff, then thats another story, i know it has the jag box.
I think as a package 10k is extreamly good value for money for an awesome awesome spec'd car, but the thing thats worth money on saph's is the engine and bolt on bits, the car itself is pretty worthless.
Im almost positive that even in this market someone will rip your arm off for 10k, who wants that from a car, as everyone has said, 500+ aint cheap, and yours hasnt been done the cheap way by any stretch of the imagination.
I think the trouble with long term development projects, is they spend so little time on the road enjoying them, that ploughing money into them and driving them two or three times a month really starts to put things into perspective, or something going months without driving it.

Well I have slept on it and I still dont know what to do
I do have a genuine offer from scoobyslayer and I can only thank him for that and being so understanding as he hasnt had a answer either way from me yet.

euan why dont you remove engine,gearbox,ecu,brakes,rims etc,store them
put standard items in and get Ł4000-5000 for car
and when your back on your feet get an esco cos shell and get it running through the rear with all the goodies?

He aint gonna be fastest saff... he cant get much more power easily... its not really trackable... and 10k is good money for it. All the folk saying its too cheap must be on smack.
Hes also stuck wi those ava muppets which doesnt help.

i sold my old saff because it was costing too much,
i lasted 6 months, i had to have another.... nothing else could fill its shoes....
then i started all over again, and ive chucked nearly 30k at this one
if you get rid, you will see it drive off and think, ohh shit, i want it back just like i did.

break it mate.get the shell up for sale and once its sold then let the dismantling commence.know its a pain in the arse but in this market it is defo the way to do it.oh and if you need a hand stripping it if you do decide that then just say mate as im not too far away
