Default Focus RS 53 plate

Focus RS 2003 53 plate, phase 2 model. Just purchased this car but i have to sell. It was a 1 owner car before me and has covered 37k miles by the previous owner.
Car is build number 2231.
Car is totally standard as the day it left the factory. It was purchased from a ford dealer, so it had 4 x new tyres fitted and new discs and pads on the front before i picked it up.
Car comes with 11 months MOT and 5 months tax.
Has 37k on clock with full Ford service history from new and has just been serviced before i picked it up.
Car is a well looked after example and in excellent condition.
Interior is mint and never smoked in and is complimented by a set of RS mats.
Car comes with the Ford wallet with all the manuals included.
Car also has 2 x keys and 2 x key fobs for the Alarm.
Car is washed and polished at least twice a week as i like to clean!!!
More photos available if required!!

Will take a diesel in part ex upto 6k ish or will consider a bike upto 4k ish!

Looking for £11995

THANKS FOR LOOKING!

Errrrr not quite - the "Phase 1 & Phase 2" thing was created by the car media/magazines, namely Evo when they did a FRS buyers guide - the reason behind it was things like the AF ecu map, stitched seat bases, pink throttle thingy, interior dash clock light dimmer, etc, and they listed these as "phase 2" updates on the later cars that came off the production line, compared to some early build cars that didnt have them.

However as has been proved on the RSOC countless times over, most of those items were easily retrofitted to the early cars, such as the stitched seat bases that some dealers paid to fix to cars that suffered from sagging seat bases & most FRS which left the factory new with the AE map were automatically given the AF map when they went in for a service

My FRS is one of the late 2003 built cars & has all the "phase2" items but not the stitched seat bases - there are also 2 '04 cars on the RSOC that do not have stitched seat bases or the interior dash light dimmer but they are late cars off the production line & therefore would be referred to as "phase2" if you believe the mags

Anyway back on topic

Well if you're being serious & using pics of other peoples cars that is REALLY not going to help you sell your car is it - least of all on a specialised Ford forum

Edit - just to say not trying to be shitty at all - just speaking from experience especially with a car like the FRS - get some decent pics done of your own car & drop the press hype of the phase1 & 2 spec as most people know that it wasnt a Ford thing & that will probably help sell the car

You don't have a clue mate!

You know nothing about me, nothing about my car's!

I would post pictures, but you would probably try to pass them off as images of your own car, as you have done with Rab Mc's pictures!

Tell me the difference between the alleged Phase 1 & 2, and I will blow your answer right out of the water for you!

Phase 2 is the version that has the Halfords/A1 Motorstore "RS" Badge fitted to the front grill!

But what do I know Paul!

No problems with using that pic, but again its not your car so why use it?, i recently sold mine and spent the day cleaning the car for those shots, do the same as it could help alot, but its really up to you, but personally its a stupid thing to do if your trying to sell YOUR car

Some advice mate

I spent alot of time on wording my ad just right, missing stuff like phases out etc, and took it to a decent place to make it stand out as it pays in the end trust me i have done the same with all my cars, do a search and see how i worded mine to get a rough idea of what i mean, also i would advise you to take thar rs badge off the grill or replace for the smaller genuine item or leave blank as things like that would put me off a car coupled with the phase patter makes me think hold on the guy doesnt know what hes on about etc

In the end i dropped my car to £11800 and got a good few calls in doing that and it IMO was a 12k+ car easy so maybe do the same to get more intrest as there are ALOT of good low mileage cars out there for not alot more

Just a few little things will get it sold if it it is genuine at the right price

Until you drive 4 hours to go view the car only to it's all dinged up, and wings need repairing. Seeing a pic of a car for sale would mean that's his car not a pic of someone else's car. Shitty IMHO but it's now sold so good luck to the new owner..
