For those that do not know, you have the option with these cars to have a longlife service (2 years or 20,000 miles) or standard service (1 year 10,000 miles).
As standard they are sent out of the factory on a longlife service cycle.
Service 1 was carried out on 25/05/05 at 18790 miles at this point it had another longlife service (by VW Wayside)
Service 2 was carried out on 15/03/07 at 31329 miles where it had a standard service (by VW Wayside)
Service 3 was carried out on 30/06/07 at 40649 miles where it had a longlife service (by St Albans Car Clinic)
- 2 previous owners
- 50,000 miles
- Tax expires on 31/08/08
- MOT expires on 15/03/09 (It has just been MOT'd with no advisories)
- 6 speed manual
- Alarm/Immobiliser
- Full Climate Control
- CD Player
- Computer showing MPG, average speed etc
This car averages 50+ MPG and qualifies for road tax at £115 per year. The 2 year service intervals also save you a lot of money (hence why I bought it)
This car has been used by me for businees since I have owned it. This has meant me covering a lot of motorway miles which has lead to some stone chips and curbing of alloys along the way however this car has to be kept clean for work purposes and is cleaned a minimum every 2 weeks and regurlarly waxed with premium products.
Bad points:
- Most of the alloys have been curbed, some worse than others
- There is a scratch on the bump strip at the front passenger side of the bumper
- There are several small stone chips on the front bumper
- The centre arm rest cushion is a little worn
It is super fuel efficient, low tax, low insurance and loaded up with all the toys you could ever want. At 130 BHP, it certainly pulls too
I am looking for £7500 ono
