Hi and welcome to my auction, here we have my 1990 ford escort bonus 90 in mercury grey with only 73000 mile on the clock.



I brought this to do a turbo conversion, but when I was in the process of buying all the turbo parts the standard 1.3 engine couldn’t cope with my heavy foot and the big ends decided give in cause I was 20-30miles away from home and I drove it back I made the crank go egg shape.

I then decided to buy a standard engine to replace it so I could get to work etc whilst saving for the turbo stuff.

But thing are never that easy I brought an engine out of a fiesta! (Still 1.3 ohv)

I took the standard engine out of the bonus and when I got the two engines side by side I noticed the new one was single point injection and the original one runs of a pump the bolts to the engine.

After all that I have now given up and just need a car for work hence being on here.
