Default 39000 mile escort rs turbo s2

hi guys,i sold this car a while back to a chap in south wales and he has just chopped it in against my sapphire cosworth.

its e reg in mercury grey and is virtually standard throughout including wheels and exhaust.
comes with a good history file.
5 owners(2 in last 12 months).

drivers seat slightly worn due to age but its hardly anything.
paddle clutch fitted which is a bit fierce, but you soon get used to it.
cat 1 alarm.
hpi clear.

overall a really nice car in excellent condition.taxed and tested.
not many low mileage unabused cars left now.
£3995-may deal with something.

Default Holy Shit

Worth that all day long ..... Very nice RS turbo that...

Look at the service book you can see the car is stamped at 48k but the mileage it was serviced at was 30 somin'... Thats a good sign IMO.. looks like the owner serviced it more that the recommended manufacturers recommended mileage?

Nice car won’t be around for much longer

re the 48 k service, it looks like from what i can see on the pic, that as it was off the road, he's basically started the service times from scratch?
for example : the 42kservice would be the 1500 mile? and the 48k would be the 6k.. thas kinda how it looks.
Lovely motor anyways

one question, why the paddle clutch on a seemingly standard car?

when it came to me first time round the 3rd owner of the car had spent quite a lot on under bonnet bling, stainless exhaust, and while he was spending a fortune-put a paddle in it rather than a standard clutch.he was a young lad with clearly no idea what he had and too much money to spend!

it deserved to look how it should have with the nice miles/history so it was returned back to standard bar the clutch-not a big job to change it,in fact for the asking price ill fit a standard clutch if you want.

i personally think that cars like this(and the 61k sapphire ive just sold)are still standard(ish) at this age deserve to remain that way as there are not enough standard cars left.
