cossie alternative? renault 21 turbo 4x4 ex press car
1st some background
it was used as a press car for renault
it was featured in what car magazine against a saph cossie and a few others, in that mag they rated it better than the cosworth (i have a copy)
then the car was bought by an employee of radbourne racing who owned it for a long time
when i bought the car i ran it for a while but then blew it up so decided i would strip the front end completely, from the windscreen forwards the car was bare
i prepped and painted the engine bay
and stripped and cleaned all the parts and replaced all the old/tired parts
ive now rebuilt the car as virtually std
spec is
white quadra
with 5 white 17" bk wheels, yep the spares the same all with new tyres on
koni rear suspension
new reno fronts with prima lowering springs
clear fogs and indicators
std engine thats covered 80k
runs very well and quietly with good oil pressure
just been serviced with new plugs, oil filter, fuel filter, running silkolene oil
also had a new cambelt, tensioner and some gaskets fitted
it has a K+N induction kit
magnecour kv85 racing plug leads
red samco boost hoses
strapped wing intercooler
new clutch fitted in bearing
scorpion full exhaust system
running 19psi boost
the brakes are drilled and grooved fronts, std rears and green stuff pads
the nearside rear caliper is brand new
for the mot the car needed a fuel tank strap so thats new
the interiors mint no rips or tears in the leather
front doors are de-locked using rear door handles
theres a kenwood cd player
car has a clifford concept 600 cat 1 alarm and imobiliser that works very well, and it closes the front windows when it arms
everything works inc. sunroof
no rust on the rear arches or the turrets as can be seen in the pics
the front end has been resprayed so is mint and i had the rest of the car compounded so is nice and shiney (not that the pics show as it was a grey day i took them)
the car has covered 108k but the engines only done 80k out of 1 of my other cars, the gearbox, rear diff and prop was all stripped and rebuilt at 50k and theres no dodgy noises or crunchy gears or anything
i have all the old mots, and service history of the car
and it comes with a years mot and the tax runs out at the end of the month so i will put 6 months on it
due to the condition of this car the asking price is £3000
probably more ive forgotten
