Try Pistonhads.com, ebay.com and aurotrader.co.uk mate, Like few others said its WORST time of year to sell car, try these site thou, i think Ł2400/Ł2500ono and will shift like, get car as gleaming as possilbe take so good angle shots of car and big it up in description. If dint shift in couple weeks then try lowering price a lil.
Have you still the saffy for sale?

go to google, and type in something like MR2 owners club and advertise on a jap car site rather than a Ford one m8!!!!
you should get more interest on them sites, if not leave it on ebay for 7 days with no reserve

Legend
It's actually traditionally a good time of year to sell cars normally as people are looking to the new year and with the colder mornings, having problems with older cars [damn this global warming ]
Everyone seems to check Autotrader at some point so it's worth advertising it on there.
Quick tip: if you're advertising online and using your own pictures [ie you don't need their Rep to come out and take them], when you get the option choose "trade" rather than private. When they ask for your business name as a required field on the form, type in a full stop or something.
It works out a bit cheaper and doesn't make any difference to your advert, neither do they ask you for any other business related details.
If someone asks you why it's in trade [which invariably they do], tell them it's because it's cheaper

Pictures Pictures Pictures. It is impossible to get excited about a car if you can't see it. Plus it would make me wonder why there was no picture?
Get it super clean and shiney and take good clear pictures - as many as possible, a buyer wants to see it all. Makes me laugh when someone hasn't even bothered to clean the brake dust of the wheels or takes one crappy camera phone picture. To me it says if they can't be bothered to clean it to sell it, they most likely can't be bothered to look after it.
It sounds bad but I would remove the bad points. These can be talked about once you have someone on the phone, or at the viewing - they are a negotiation point and so be willing to move on the price or have them done for a new buyer.
As for the insurance, well that is there issue really, you have made it clear it is an import, and if you want you can advise them once on the phone with them about checking insurance.
