I have for sale my Magna red Renault Clio 1.8 16v ‘sport’.
The Clio 16v is now becoming a rare site on today’s roads with only a handful of ‘good’ examples left.

The Clio I have for sale is in “very good condition”.


The car has NO mechanical / body faults (This is the third Clio 16v I have owned).


Note - The milage is 133,000 I believe the car has had and complete engine and gearbox overhaul. Whoever inspects or test drives the car will be able to see for themselves the excellent mechanical condition of the vehicle.

Important facts and piece of mind when purchasing a hot hatch

The car has been checked mechanically and recently serviced with new clean oil.
I have a dealer HPI report.
The car has a MOT until early 2007


Body work

The car is finished in Magna Red, (it even still has the yellow factory stripe around the car). All the panels’ line up accurately and there is no evidence of crash damage or amateur resprays.


Interior / Electrics

The interior is in very good clean condition. There are no scratches on the dash or side panels. The seats are also excellent. The interior is evidence the car has been cared for, even the original factory stereo is in excellent condition.
All the in car electrics work perfectly. Both keys work with the immobiliser.


Engine and gearbox and clutch

The 1.8 engine pulls hard in ever gear and revs quickly. There are NO leaks , rattles, or knocking noises. The car starts first time every time.
The gear change is also extremely smooth and easy.
The clutch bites easily and has thousands of miles left before it needs changing.


Tyres and alloys / other

The car comes with the Renault 19 alloy wheels, and has 4 Good condition tyres!
The car also has a sports exhaust which helps performance.


Other

Please note the vehicle is in “Very good condition” it’s not “mint” or “perfect”. There is a tiny bubble of rust on the back wheel arch the size of a (5 pence piece).


The car is also missing one hub cap on the back alloy (£5 to replace). One the the internal dials also needs a fuse.

Hi Guys,

I should edit the eBay advert. The car was up for 1390 ono!! BUT I dropped the price to £1000 but didn’t edit the advert properly.

I am not a dealer, although I bought the car from a respectable dealer (receipt available). The car was fully checked buy the dealer who took it in PX. The car was checked mechanically but I also have a HPI certificate.

As mentioned the car at some point has had an engine overhaul, and this is evident in the way it drives.

Whoever sees the car I am sure they will buy it! This is a cheap hot hatch in “very good condition”. Find one better for this money ???

If I don’t sell the car in buy Christmas I will keep it because it is 100% reliable..
