Till then a well polished and cared for Mallard Escos will always be best for me

Why don't you just part ex it - Someone with a CSL or a 911 might be looking for a cheaper fun run around. You never know you might make someone very happy while you get the car of your choice!!

top car tho mate IMO if it was my car i'd down grade it then flog it as a std'ish car

I just dont get the whole 'Mallard devalues Escos' debate, I think it is the classic Escos colour and certainly was one if not the most popular colour at launch-maybe this is why people dont like it so much as it's more common, however there wont be many really good condition ones left soon and maybe people will then see the light

This thread has been resurected off a while back and had second thoughts since starting it, keeping the old ford and possibly getting rid of the german barge
Just need some wheels for the Escos but all the ones that are nice that I like or want are between Ł3500 - Ł5000

If you are looking to sell it you should advertise it over here in Ireland.
Some guys are willing to pay mega bucks for the right car & escos's are
rare as rockin horse sh*t here.
I have heard of people paying over 10k for clean saph cos's.
My cousin has a concourse 1.1 MK1 ( done by CBC ) and he was offerd
over 30K (euro) for it.
Because there so rare guys will pay for a good one here, if they
could find one!!!

Their isnt one nut, bolt or washer that isnt brand spanking new mate. New engine, suspension etc etc. Only thing that aint new is the gearbox and diffs but they'll be done soon hopefully.
FYI the mileage shows 78k
