Default 1988 2wd sapphire project *CHEAP* £2500 NEW PICS

Ive had this car for 9 mths now and its never been on the road.. i bought the car as a rolling shell then ive had an engine and box put in it that i got from A1 Rally Sport then had the full car loom's replaced and engine fitted professionally.

I then found out one of the rear chassis legs was rotten slightly so i had that done and the full rear end tetra shultzed, the rear beam and petrol tank painted with hamerite.

The car has a few little dints here and there but can be sorted easily enoughand also the interior has the usual wear on drivers bolster.

The exterior is standard apart from 4x4 bonnet, morrette twin headlights,4x4 rear lights, borbet 16" alloys with new tires all round, koni shockers and springs all round, ebc discs and greenstuff pads. scorpion full stainless, k&n air filter, new clutch, speedo and handbrake cable's and a full service.

The car starts and doesnt smoke and also drives but it isnt taxed so havnt tried.
The car has loads of history (including Hpi report) and the private reg is CDZ1 055 which looks like COZI...

I am after £2500 or will take a px plus cash my way. the bumper has not been bolted up as i cant find the brackets for it... thats why it doesnt look like its fitted proper.

email me on hannibal_@hotmail.co.uk for pics and interest.or ring me on 07707704405(mark)
thanks

when i got the shell it was a rolling shell. the previous owner's fuel pressure regulator pipe split and had a little fire.. damaged a bit of the engine loom and thats about it.. he ended up putting the engine and box out of it into a mk2 escort. i then paid for the car to have the looms fully replace. even the one inside the car..

mark,it may cost you a bit to get it through an mot (emmissions can be a nightmare!).

if i were you i would break it.or just let it go for less-i know its not nice when someone tells you your car isnt worth what you think it is but the fact is a lot of cossies are now worth more in bits than as a complete car.

just trying to help if you want shut of it-otherwise mot it and enjoy it for a bit-then break it

Listen guys its not a high price... its very cheap for what it is and its not nackered Paul, the engine doesnt smoke the brakes are fine, even the gearbox is mint (had been rebuilt). Beside's guys i dont wanna break it if i dont have to, i'd rather another cossie got put on the road than got broke.
Carlo how can you say morrette's arn't worth out ?? also i know 16" arn't worth loads but the main selling point with them is they have nearly brand new tire's on em.

If it sell's it sell's, If it don't it don't.. i'd leave it there for as long as it takes... its not like i need the money otherwise i would have ebayed it by now.
