a mate of mine has asked me to sell his escort cosworth for him as he is now buying a bmw m3 csl(too much money!).i bought the escort from paul at north yorks rs spares last year for him,and he has since then spent a small fortune getting it to the spec he wanted,and has hardly used it.
when we got it from paul we did a few bits and pieces that needed doing-and that the new owner wanted doing-
new cambelt and tensioner,all new sensors,new dist cap,arm,leads,plugs,oil and filter,new cone filter,clutch cable.

also straight away we went to collins to get it uprated which included new light blue injectors,new map sensor,new remapped chip-also has now got a new radtec rs500 intercooler with water injection(factory kit),plumbed in.also has the usual,alloy header tank,breather kit,uprated hoses,new powder coated rocker cover.i would estimate power at 350 bhp.

he has also just had a new clutch fitted,as he wasnt happy with the bite.

he has also replaced the front lights with the new style morette twin lights which have uprated lights in them now and they look awesome.
he replaced the bonnet as he wasnt too happy with the stone chips on the old one-gen ford one.

he has even bought 2 matching recaro seats in black alcantara with red piping as the front seats were a little(!) worn.these seats are as new and cost a fortune as they were specially ordered.

the car is sat on koni adjustables and 18" alloys which have just been painted black and look awesome.

has a lot of history and all recent bills-he has thrown a small fortune at it to get it how he wanted,but has now decided to sell it to fund his m3 purchase.
the car is coming in to me tomorrow so i will get some nice pictures up for you.i think he is mad,but he only wants around £12500 for a quick sale-i think he is mad as it looks stunning,original wings etc.he must have spent £5000 on it since he bought it in december.no p/x-sorry,cash only

the alloys are now black/anthracite and the morettes are a newer design with blue headlights-awesome

its also had a bit of tidying up paintwise-little bits here and there.im surprised he is selling it,especially at this price after what he has spent but this m3 is coming to him cheap so........

that was my boyfriends old car from colchester which he got from a friend called dan who spent a fortune on it.what a sweet car ,id buy it but two safs and no room....should fly away its a steal at that price

i know its a steal,ive seen how much time/money has gone into the car since dec last year-ill bet he hasnt done 2000 miles in it.basically he has only just,well not even finished it yet-its just this csl m3 coming up for sale that has spoiled it-i would buy it myself but i would have to sell the rs500.

This is a very cheap car and should sell within days .

When i sold this car it was a good example that needed a little tlc to make mint , but seems to have had major money spent on it so i am 100% that this is now a superb example and worth that kind of money

as paul says its a nice car that has now had loads of dosh spent on it.i think the guy is mad and i valued it at around the £13500-14000 mark,but he wants a quickish sale-shame ive got the rs500 as i would have got it for myself knowing what has been spent on it.
