Just thought i'd post on the off chance.

My Dad wants a new learner car, he wants a 1.6Tdci at least Zetec level trim. Not too fussed whether 3 or 5dr, has to be manual, either silver. pale blue or metalic red (not the pinky one!). He'd like ESP and bluetooth but thinks this will be too expensive.

He has a 1.4 56 plate silver 3dr Fiesta in silver to trade in, with air con and blue tooth - not sure how much he's been offered for this though.

Best price he has had is £14200. He has a car for the scrappage scheme too.

If anyone could help, that would be much appreciated

I know a zetec S diesel is 16k as i really like the look of em,,,, but i aint paying 16k for a fiesta !,,,, if you know someone who works at ford ( ie family) then you can get a decent deal,, well till the end of the month that is

Does it have to be new?
Wouldn't preregistered be fine? Get searching through the main dealer websites, surely there'll be some delivery miles one's out there!

scrappage doesn't work with pre reg afaik.

Simon - brilliant. Just been looking on the net an there seem to be titaniums available for under 13k. If you could price a zetec and titanium up, that would be great. Been offered 4.5k for the 37k miles 56 plate 1.4 zetec fiesta he has now in part ex. Also have an mot'd h plate fiesta for the scrappage.
