Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a second hand Ford Escort with the following spec as i am a fussy bastard;

• 1998
• Black
• 3 Door
• GTI (Not a replica)
• Standard or sensible mods
• any mileage prefarbly lower then 100k
• looking to spend upto 1,500 pounds

anyone got any links, friends they know are selling let me know. Any help appriecated. thanks.

Mine is for sale, R registered, proper gti, sunroof no aircon, carpeted door pockets, half leather, vrey good condition, only mod is a stainless 2 1/2" backbox.

Havent put any pictures up yet, i'm based in blackpool, MOT is well into next year, tex is due end of the month, some history, and car will be fully valeted before sale, £1295 ono.

Found some from when i first got it, its pretty much exactly the same, bar the slightly larger exhaust........









Its just a lot cleaner than in those pictures, im a car valeter by trade so its been very well looked after and cleaned regularly, all tires have excellent tread, fires up first time everytime, everything works, has never broken down on me, mileage is showing just over 81k off the top of my head.

Thanks for sticking the pictures up i appreciate it. The car looks really nice mate. Before i ask anymore questions about the car, i would like to just point out that I'm not actually looking to buy the car until February 2009- just wanted to make that clear.

I am definitely interested, but i just wont have the money until then to be honest. I hope this is not a problem. Thanks again!
