Default Heated window repair paint - any good?

Discovered yesterday that I've scratched through one of the heating wires on my tailgate window so have a band that wouldn't defrost.

Can you still get the wee bottles of silver paint, and is it any good?

Tried Halfords today and they don't have it any more (according to the 11 year old I asked!)
