yes and no,

Lee only ran at pod on road legal tyres not slicks, so if you’ve run at pod before no matter how sticky the track is if your running road legal tyres it’s still gonna be slippery off the line.

My main point being was for better acceleration off the line, road or strip I’m almost certain rods car would be a million times better with lower gearing regardless of the surface
