small update:not done much on the car recently but been doing bits and pieces to the engine,still not got round to painting the brake lines mainly due to the weather and motivation
new rear crank seal and spigot bearing fitted along with the clutch:



new exhaust gaskets with new nuts and washers:

when I bought the car the turbo was running a restrictor my plan was always to replace the front housing with a standard one,so I won this one off ebay a few years ago so decided to fit it today:

guess what?it does fit but locks the blades so looks like im stuck with the original housing for now

new studs and nuts the exhaust housing.

that's it for now hopefully have the engine in in a couple of weeks.
