6 or 12 month tax discs. They get 12 month discs for daily drivers. They get most 6 month discs from daily drivers who cant afford 12 month discs at the time. But also classic cars get taxed for 6 months then stored for the rest. Or in some cases they get 12 months tax from the start of the "show season", and then when they are done for the season, the tax gets cancelled and refunded.
So taxing on a monthly basis, they are garuanteed more classic cars will be taxed from feb/march to sept/oct. So thats 8-10 montha garuanteed/non refundable taxation. Another thing, if its monthly, the government wont have to "refund" anyone, as tax being cancelled will be coming off a vehicle at the end of that month instead!!
Classic cars are tax exempt!
