Pretty much spot on matey. We go down to the Met compounds about once a fortnight and advise them what is worth sending up for auction and what isn't. They're moving away from crushing stuff as I think they're under pressure to maximise funds from seized vehicles rather than just getting scrap value - unless of course if the car is likely to be pursued by 'Mr X' when he gets out of prison etc or a particularly dodgy case or something, then it still gets cubed !
