wont make a single bit of difference as the photographic evidence stands on its own merit regardless of how it was obtained. As long as you can see his car over the line and the red light, then he will be convicted no matter how badly maintained the camera is.
Its not like speed cameras where you can argue calibration is relevant. Even with speed cameras, you are only likely to get away with the old calibration trick where its a marginal speeding case. Anything massively over then the magistrate wont give a fuck. The camera might be 1 or 2 mph out but whats 1 or 2mph if youre caught at 30 over the speed limit
