As I have said on phone mate I can't understand why your turbo just gave up the way it did. You shouldn't just have boost one second and then none at all. Are you 100 percent sure you adjusted the actuator properly and you have no leaks. Anyone else shed any light on this because you can't have boost and then none instantly. The turbo I sold him as covered maybe 2k has no play in it and was holding 17psi all day long. All the wheels are intact and not damaged at all so in theory has to provide boost of some sort. You say you used your brothers actuator aswell what actuator is this because 8psi is about standard is it not. How are you acheiving your higher boost bleed valve or something because your car is chipped. I can't understand this and I think more actuator problem, or boost leak or something for you not to get boost at all all of a sudden.
ive just looked at this turbo u sold matt and its fucked to say least, it dosent make boost cos the shaft has snapped
