Considering they blame speeding on virtually all accidents, I'd find any of their statistics hard to believe.

They'll feed the public with bullshit until enough idiots believe them and then they start issuing fines for their bullshit.

And driving whilst tired is far more dangerous than a few drinks. When has anyone ever been charged with that ? Do they even look for tired drivers ?

All they care about is dreaming up new ways to fine motorists. Yes driving whilst actually on a phone call is not safe. But there are far more dangerous ways to drive that they totally ignore.
