That's the point....some wanker cops here were doing people parked in a layby safely off the road, purely because their engine was still running !!

The law is so stupid, that if your keys are in the ignition and the handset is in your hand, then they can convict. The engine doesnt even need to be running !

What next, sitting eating a takeaway in the car with the engine running will become an offence ? Which is more dangerous. Eating, or using a phone when parked ?

Lets just hope they arrest any speed camera van operators who leave their engines running for heat during the winter.
