Exactly. It helps if they're mapped properly from the factory in the first place which the newer ones weren't so standard engines with standard power were blowing.

Older subarus were renowned for blowing the engine after one top speed run. there were numerous threads about this when I used to vist scoobynet regularly a few years back.
