Not really helpful on a 4g ipohone seeing as the sim is a different size
I'd ALWAYS recommend keeping contacts in Outlook or a similar contact management client and then just sync them into itunes ( or whatever phone you have )...that way if itunes or your phone fucks up you always have them held separately
Not every one has a new sim, just cut down your old one or use a die like is some shops.
