I used to do Corvette Club track days
I was out once in my mates Mach 1, he mounted the central reservation which scared the crap out of me as I was the passenger (on the right) and he wasn't used to LHD
I thought I was gonna die. The car gently popped up the kerb (the A10 at about 60MPH!) and calmly dropped back down as it was so soft and mushy it didn't bother it
I was relieved to say the least and the second time it happened it didn't scare me. I've always enjoyed driving a yank tank but would rather admire and roadtest than own one
I think they look wicked though. American Graffiti is a top film IMO
