Deff wrong, even with other maps on the ST the midrange surge is far more aggressive than the RS's nice smooth power band.
Top end though is a different story.
However, a RS is a far better base to begin with, and I WANT one. But you cannot ignore the fact that a ST wont be miles and miles off remapped, and they are going for around 11k and a dreamscience/code red/bluefin is £400 odd. Yes im comparing a moddified car to a standard one blah blah, and yes a RS with a remap with then trounce most STs, but that package is 30k!
So £ for bhp the ST is a very good car.
