Halal is a general Islam teaching but in this case (food/livestock), it's in the preparation and slaughter of the animal for meat or extract (no pigs obv). By product is that it can't come into contact with non-Halal though yeah.
You'll see on a slaughter line for Halal meat they string up the carcass for a lot longer to drain them out fully...
i thought all meat was drained of blood,,, hence we dont get a REALL bloody steak just my cows are Slaugtered then drained,,, my neighbours would be drained
you seen cows getting the hammer to the skull then fall sideways and down a chute,,,,, still dont seem a great way for a animal to die but better than bleed out i guess
