when my welded gives out the next diff i get i'll be welding to the case extra surports across to stop the case stretching and letting the crown gear and pinion have less contact area causing them to break..
a welded diff would be terrible in a road car and is just silly advise lol.And crown wheel and pinions are only really a problem if u have lots of torque unless u drive drive like a twat all the time in which case you will always brake something!
