I got a 40" Samsung 1080p LCD and regretted it almost instantly as I wanted bigger. The quality is awesome and all that but I love watching films on HUGE screens and I love toys.

I was looking around for a 50" screen then realised it's like when you start tuning a car, you get bored with it quickly and always want more. So why not start with the biggest you can get and do it properly with a projector?

These are great value, 1080p and depending on the size of your room can project up to around 15 foot screen size. No matter what anyone says though, they're not ideal for watching unless your room is a bit darker [curtains drawn and/or at night] which is why a normal TV behind it is a good idea.

I'm afraid we're all out of cake, we weren't expecting such a rush.
