Most people who buy Emerald ECU's take advantage of the fee that Emerald charge for mapping and get them to map it, so its done correctly.
And most people, once their car has been mapped rarely, if ever touch it again, unless they make changes to the engine spec.
SO.... most people would not encounter the 'problems' the Chipmiester has raised.
