Car in question already had a map from Dave on it anyway in fact, but has now got different spec cams, so it was a bit rich in the midrange and a little lean at the top end, so I just sorted it out for the guy who owns it, charged him nothing as he is a mate, he lives local so it cost him less in fuel as well than going to Dave's and he is perfectly happy with the results, reckons it drives much better now, so no need for the car to go to Dave as its all sorted anyway, its not that I *cant* do it on emerald, I just find it an awkward interface so wondered if there was an option on there that I wasnt aware of to allow the grid to live update thats all.
