I remember him almost apologising to everyone when he splased out on Wiltord because he cost about £10million and because he was a big name, but he was the only player he could get quick enough that fit the bill at the time

Henry was maybe a big name, but he'd come off the back of an awful time at Juventus and looked like he was just going to fade away into an over-hyped nobody. A season and a half at Arsenal and he was the best player in the world. Best ever in my opinion at his peak.
