Sorry I thought it was a discussion about a company that may or may not have gone bust?

OP is looking for a new set of wheels for his car. He asks for confirmation about whether Compomotive, known to sell wheels, have ceased trading before he tries to order wheels for his car.

Non Car Related...

There's a bigger thread about it on the Escos Forum:
http://www.escortrscosworth.com/foru...ad.php?t=36583

But I can't possibly see how this is "non" car related??

If I ask you if you've heard of matches, do you automatically take it that I need to buy matches to go and burn down a school building with all the school kids and teachers in it, film it and put it on the internet?

Rich
Theres so many threads that could be classed as loosely car related that if we left them all in the one section it would quickly become very overcrowded.

IMO this was a thread asking if a company had gone bust and not specifically about anything car related so I moved it.

Everyone has a different opinion I suppose but as I have now moved it to a specific car related Wheels and Tyres section I don't see any problem.

OP please feel free to PM me or lodge a protest in the moderation queries room if you think this is unfair.

Thankyou.

Good call, I made a mistake about the OP and the OP on the other thread.. Didn't realise they were different people. for me!!

Not really the same thing, matches have multiple applications.

Compomotive sell wheels, fact.

Wheels are car related, fact.

Therefore, Compomotive going out of business will only really be of significance to those who own cars. Hence it being car-related. I'm 'surprised' the mods aren't just admitting it was a poor call shifting it to the wrong forum and moving on...

Word on the street is that they've lost their premises - but this site implies they've gone into administration.

Yeah, I guess it must be hard to get your head around my comments since it appears you lack a basic sense of humour... no problem though, I'm sure those blessed with the ability to notice a friendly 'dig' in the way it was intended cracked a wee smile.

Problem is I know you of old and your digs are never meant in a friendly way but rather to try and bait me or other members of the mod team into a reaction and its not just me who has noticed it.

There is a specific section on here if you feel that a moderation decision is incorrect so please use that section if you have issue, however do feel free to carry on doing it on peoples threads but all I can do is give you a friendly warning and say that if you keep doing it you wont be a member on here much longer.

Cheers.

Haha, give it a rest mate, I'm not the one perpetuating this grumble.. and I'm certainly not making any kind of loaded/barbed digs here, even my smileys would support that?!

I'm a sarcastic bastard and I post in the same way as I talk in real life. If I met you at a meet or knew you socially, I'd have ripped the piss and noised you up for moving a wheel-related thread to NCR too.. no different to here!!

That surely clears things up now?

Cheers,
Grant

lol ok mate fair enough.

I do have to say though that a lot of your comments do come across as more geared at inciting other members to get on the mods backs if theres a decision you don't agree with etc etc

As you say though Ive never met you and everything you post on here could be tongue in cheek but as you know its very difficult making that judgement when all you can see is words on a screen whereas face to face you can tell with a persons facial expressions... a lot of members also try and hide behind smileys when having a dig if that makes sense?

that said if you could just think along those lines when you post the sort of comments you do because like myself not all members know or think youre kidding and it can just cause us a lot more grief in the long run.

glad we got that cleared up though.

Cheers

Mark

Was there any confirmation, that's in reply to the OP.

ive also been in contact with my compo dealer in norway..and they said that compo have a production stop ,because they are moving facilities to a low cost euro country..thats why they have a production stop.

at least that is what they said.and it may be the truth very well i think.
