Default Knife edging cosworth crank

Hi folks just wandering if its worth havin crank knife edged, im building engine heading toward 500,550bhp ive got std grind crank, std bore block with 10 long studs and new rods and pistons from matt lewis ! Is it worth havin it done before i get bottom end balanced? An whats the advantages?

Any info greatly appreciated

It does have advantages , it can cut through the oil (less drag) and also will weigh less (less rotating mass) which can help an engine rev more.
The YB crank is balanced very well already and as standard will do 500 no problems.
