Well I have a Cougar V6 and have read in different places it has either 3 or 4 oxygen sensors. Can anyone confirm how many it actually has? Also, whatever number it has, are they all the same part number or do they differ?

My ST24 had 3 but in was a R reg so was a early one I think 1999 on had 4 if you get stuck let me know what year it is and can check a wiring diagram at work tomoz! I'm sure the downstream ones will be different from the upstream tho

Someone I spoke to today confirmed what Jay said, it has 1 on each bank. Not sure if those are the only 2 though. Inclined to think they might be

I checked the wiring diagrams we have mate only lists 2, one for each bank

Thanks very much John, appreciate you going to that effort! 2 it is then, will work out cheaper than 3 or 4!
