Escort RS S2 set up question please read
Hi my S2 RS turbo has been set up by power engineering to 180bhp at 18psi I have since turned it back down to 10psi as I want more reliability and less strain on clutch, gearbox ect, does this mean I have to get the car set up again to run 10psi or is it ok as it's below 18psi therefore will not run lean ect, it seems to run fine at 10psi so just needed some more expert advice, cheers

In theory it should be ok, if a little on the rich side. But to be honest i would leave it at 18psi and just drive it more gently if you're worried about it. You can fit a low boost switch too incase the 18psi is too much for wet conditions etc.
As long as you aren't a moron with it, it should last fine at 18psi, its a good solid power figure. I'll be having mine setup at around 20psi, and i've got low boost switch.

Yeah providing its happy fuelling for it.
No idea on power, around 200-220 likely. Turbo is rated up to 22psi but ill be happy with whatever it makes. I'm not chasing power figures.
Gearbox is the only real problem, though I have good word that it'll be ok so long as I'm not an idiot with it, and I have a good amount of mechanical sympathy so I'm not too worried.
