Anyone going to the Simply Ford Day at Beaulieu on May 4th? It is usually a great day with a good selection of classic and modern Fords.

I did help them get that event off the ground but although held at a great venue I did not like how they laid out exhibitor area as it was simply a car parking area

its defo a event worth going to if never been into the museum, but once you have done that the actual car event is very lack lustre

Go in through the main entrance ,it is all sign posted from there plus there are people on hand to point you in the right direction. Weather looking good so hopefully there will lots of tasty Fords coming.
Been doing last minute cleaning on my 2WD Sapphire and I am lucky to live only10 minutes away!

What a fantastic turnout of all types of Fords today at Simply Ford. More came this year than any previous year, it was packed with everything from a 1923 model T right up to new Focus RS cars. Loads of classic Anglias, Cortinas, Capris
Escort MK 1 & 2 ,Mustangs and quite a few 3 doors and Sapphires.
I took my Sapphire 2wd and was parked next to lots of Mustangs. Had loads of people complimenting my car and taking photos of it which was nice.
Where do all these great cars go when they are not at shows? I cant remember the last time I saw another Fast Ford on the road when I have been out in mine.
I can definitely say it was a great show.

Really good day as always lots of classic fords, nice change to see classics instead of loads of mk2 focus rs's and st's.

Never seen a saff registered on a n plate before, must have been hanging around for years before registered? They weren't show plates either.

I don't know how they've got that on an N prefix.. It's was registered in 1990

Bit gutted this year, we went down with our Rsoc and got made to park in the car park, then we walked round the show and we must have counted over 100 spaces free that never got filled. Shame about that but otherwise good day. I think next year I'll turn up early on my own and get into the show area, I think our club left it too late in the morning to turn up to get a decent place

Unfortunately it is first come first served and this year there were more Fords than they have ever had before , I got there early and got a good spot next to the Mustangs in the main arena . I did see you trying to get set up by that time there was already loads of cars trying to find a spot.
Apart from that it was a great show with a really good range of all types of Fords.

I thought the show was brilliant having never been before.

A nice atmosphere compared to some of the other shows, plus a beautiful setting and getting to have a looksie round the museum was good.

Think it was busy cause the weather was nice .

How to improve
More trade stands only about 5 stands
Have some things going on ?
Some of the cars in car park where better then the club ones so maybe get them to park in areas fiesta escort Capri modified etc
But the sun was out so a good day

tbh dont like the format this show is set up on, went once did the museum too saw a few nice cars but tbh see that quality of motor at most decent car club meets, if your local then its a no brainer

It was our second year at this show & once again it didn't disappoint some very nice cars there & more fords then ever before & with no cars bumping into each other lol was a very good day
