Custom engine fitting Essex
Hi all , I'm after some help or knowledge if u can please .
So had a great idea that after years out of messing about with cars I wanted to have a little track toy but wanted something a little different .
Car of choice is a 2000 (X REG) fiesta zetec s ,
Engine of choice - blacktop zetec turbo.
Now for the help part , as with these things I've not really been able to find the spare time needed to work as much as I want so does anyone know of a company that could assist fitting the engine / gearbox / aftermarket ECU . I know it can be done with standard mounts and joining plates as ive seen this done before !!
I'd also like a single gauge like an acewell ma85 ( or equivalent ) . The car is stripped engine bay and internally so all wiring is exposed for easy access for work to be carried out .
Thank you for taking time to have a read and if you can help get this on the track it would be great .

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
Why not turbo the zetec s engine
Use good parts and you should see good results
In time I will be turbocharging one off these for my light weight Sierra
( just slowly collecting bit up )
Also I had to resently cross check a zetec s dry sump pan on a 1.6 Eco boost engine
And the block look very identical
So you maybe able to get the Eco boost rods and Pistons to fit maybe ??
And the zetec s engine is so light over a black top

I've done the conversion in a puma, but the thread is over on projectpuma. Might help seeing as it's the same car underneath.
Not sure how it would just bolt straight in.. I've made all the mounts for mine.
And I suspect you're going to need deep pockets if you want a garage to fit the engine, gearbox and management.

Too many posts.. I need a life!!
I've got a mk4 fiesta with a zetec turbo in it. Mine owes around 6k for the conversion as I done all the work myself. Could do it cheaper, but reliability costs money!
I'm more than happy to help out with any buts you get stuck with?
