About bloody time! 2wd cossie
alright chaps i have owned my moonstone sapphire cossie for about 6 mts and im not going to lie and say its been all fun. 2 weeks after ownership the cambelt tensioner let go and the result was a snapped cam and 14 bent valves!
shortly afterwards all repaired including new valves seats stemseals porting and skimmed head then topped off with cometic wrc headgasket and arp stud and nut kit.
recent plagues of electrical gremlins and discoveries of a few rot holes in the underside coupled with a forthcoming mot have made me decide not to bother with the patch it up and fingers crossed approach but to go the whole hog and give it a full restoration it really deserves!
current spec is:
bosh 803's
stage 3 chip (unknown make)
3bar map
rs500 cooler
wrc headgasket
t3 t4 hybrid turbo a/r .50 inletside unknown exhaust
gaz coilovers all round
ecos alloys
black raven leather interior
the restoration will be happening but im not sure what direction to head in terms of a concours (to the best of my abilities lol!) or to go stripped out cage etc its not used as a daily drive more of a weekend car so practicality is not an issue but am in two minds!
advice regarding the above will be greatly appreciated
cheers for looking

im so not sure there is so much ill fitting trim and cracked plastic parts in it that it will be a nightmare to replace/repair all the bits (but potentially worth it!)
ant with the extent of the rust and repairs to the chassis thats why im tempted to go for an out and out trackday (but road legal) car
just dont know what to do!
