update
taken the car 2 work 2 day so i can do all the panel work
started on the n/s inner sill,
got 2 cut out an replace all the rust b4 i replace the panel!!
2moz goin2 remove an replace the rust from the front bit were the inner sill fits!!
then spot weld the inner sill in place at the top as sides ready 4 the floor!!!!
then on 2 the other side!!!

a little update
the escort flitches were rotten so i ad 2 replace them!
so we i decided 2 make a nice new 1 out ov a escort an sierra flitch so
is fits round the sierra floor an the escorts wings an front panel!
an 2 became 1!!!
its a lot more work than i wanted but if its rotten then its got2 go!!!!!
now iv got the floor fittin nice with the flicthes i started platein the middle section so i can spot weld the floor 2 the new inner sills!
i will post more pics 2moz!

front floor section in place
update is well over due!
welded it floor to sill section up an filled an in primer!
floor welded in place now.
so i removed the n/s outer sill.
then make sum plates under the new flitch panels to were the a posts fit!
then i welded i outer sill an lower a post then a splash ov red oxide as i dont want2 grind the weld down yet untill i an happy all my welding is done. then i can av a hole day on the grinder!
an onto the o/s
now the front floor is welded in i av started cuttin the rear floor out!!
im off work untill the 4th! but am goin in on weds & thursday to get the rear floor in place!

4got 2 put this pic on!
i left an lip on the steal i made so i can heat up an bend round the inner arch then tac in place 4 extra strength!

im at that stage were im itchin all the time 2 get bk 2 the garage an work on it!
i lost interest about a mouth ago as i was very busy at work an didnt get any time 2 spend on it!
i aint the sort of job u can only spend an hour a week on lol
but now im bk on track

update!!!!
ello again all
made a start on the rear end!
just waitin on sum panels 2 arrive so i can finish it off!
i replaced the rear chassis sections so they line back up to where the rear
bumper bolts to panel!!
replaced the rear panel.
im waitin on the 2 lower corner sections then they will b replaced!
now i was ready 2 make an fit the floor pan!
then trim an fit the sierra rear inner arches!
just put abit of seam sealer on 2 see wot it looks like!!
then on the n/s wheel arch iv tryed sum new black flexible spray sealer!
an this as it sits now! full ov dirty foot prints lol!

i used the sierra rear inner arches because they wud fit the floor all i ad 2
do was trim them abit! if u used the s1 arches it wud av been alot more
pissin about! an i think they look beta lol!
