I have a mock up wiring diagram on paper as im currently in the middle of the conversion myself but im using a 1.8 zetec. ill try upload a pic or find the link were i found the diagram too.

Scince ure using carbs wiring will be alot easier then if u use standar injection. and u will want 40/45's at least on a 2.0 any less and it will run like shit.

u will need a cvh gearbox. (prefrable a lsd rst one) use the 1.8 zetec flywheel due to it being light in weight and a RST clutch and pressure plate, the rst pressure polate fits the zetec flywheel perfect.
CVH alternator and bracket
you can fit above the alternator a tensioner pulley this saves swapping water pumps.
keep the zetec manifold and downpipe and just mate then at the zetec flexi and your exhaust.

u will have to fabricate your own engine mount depending on what you got the zetec lump out of. chop a lug off here n there n weld a few more on.

a 2/4 way relay box and a 6 way fuse box for the zetec wiring conversion.

scince ure on carbs no need to worry about plastic inlet.

other then that it is actuall an good easy conversion to do. apart from the wiring everything is quite simply bolt on.

ill be posting pics on my thread soon so keep a look on there.

yeah use a fiesta xr2i 16v water pump or fiesta si or rs 1800 ! mondeo do spin the wrong way lol , 1.6 fiesta si flywheel, fiesta turbo clutch , escort turbo gear box ,1.6 si sump ( mondeo has the exhust gap in the wrong place ! ) 1.8 130ps exhust manifold ( mk5 xr31 or rs1800 ) and down pipe, xr2i non pas alternater braket and alternater ( thats the spec of the one i did so mite be of some use i wont add wiring as mine was efi
edit to say not all 1.8 flywheels fit ! u need one from a ib5 gear box! not a mondeo or bigger engine late escort mtx75 i think it is ,

if ur running a carb, why not do the same set up as the banger boys??
and just use a ESC module of a late mk4 escort or early mk3 fiesta....3 wires and its running?

agree - mine is on this set up - £85 manifold off ebay and a 3lt carb and the esc - runs really well, always starts - got a few flat spots but thats down to carb set up - alright when it is nailed though.

If your using the origional zetec manifold and down pipe then there is no need to change sumps the down pipe runs under sump with a foot length of pipe and flexi after it? why change sumps whe u can just cut and reweld the exhaust after the flexi. i have just done a zetec conversion in a mk4 escort and is working perfectly with exhaust and origional water pump. i just added a tensioner above the alternator on the front of the block so the belt runs under the water pump like it dose standard with AC/PAS.

i even use the origonal tensionr just made a new bracked that bolts to the CVH alternator bracket hey presto 5 min fabrication. saves buy WP and time changing it all. ill post a few pics when i get to workshop tomos

the only problem i had was the PATS system which i have just modified the PATS control box to make it think its gettin the siganl and its not. so actuall dont even need the key at all or even the transponder on the barrel.
