Modifications include:

14" Ford alloys
60mm Spax kit
K&N Induction kit
Clear indicators
Red detailing
11" Steering wheel
Pioneer usb/cd player
Twin 12" Sony Xplod Subs
4 Channel JBL Amp
5" JBL Components in the front and back

Future stuff includes:

Polished alloys/7" wide banded steels
Underbody rustproofing/detailing
Stainless exhaust
Recaros
Xr2i Boot spoiler

Want to get more power out of the 1.4i but not sure how any ideas?

One day il get an Xr2i lump in or rs turbo when funds allow but its a shame to ditch the original engine as its still only got 30k on it now.

Cheers

Not too into the red stripe bits, think I would have left the wheels silver too.

Looks mega clean though!

I wouldn't bother messing with the 1.4. Maybe stick a 4 branch on, but that's about it. Least that might suit the 1.6 lump if you fitted one. Otherwise I'd just save your money for an engine swap later

yea i wanted to keep the wheels silver but they were in very rough condition so sprayed them black through laziness. their going OEM silver or polished in the summer unless i can afford some sexier wheels

chose the red stripe as the inserts in the front and rear bumpers were faded. i love the look of the peugeot 205 gti with its red bumper inserts so thought i'd copy the look.

recently noticed the car makes a creaking noise when i turn the steering wheel mainly at slow speeds or going over a bump. think its coming from the suspension. any ideas why? could it be the aging spax springs?

haven't updated in a while,

some of you will remember this photoshop:

Size: 55.9 KB

well now the car looks like this

Name: DSC00952_3_4_tonemapped.jpg
Views: 924
Size: 43.9 KB

Size: 84.2 KB

next on the cards is a smoothed front bumper like the photoshop and then a 2.0i zetec

Because it's on the floor The geometry is probably all to cock. A lot more to vehicle handling than ride height. Coilovers mean nothing if the car isn't set up properly, and unless you're running adjustable top mounts, TCAs etc etc, then I very much doubt it's set up properly.

Each to their own but, in my experience, extremely low cars generally drive and handle like crap on the road.
