Welcome! If you can find an inertia extractor you will pop it out with no problem!
If you can't find try using soft blows on the hub with a hummer or fabricate your own inertia extractor!

sold a few bit of her now so she will be booked it for the
full weld in grp4 roll cage
and will have the large gearbox tunnel welded in and have the large front and rear diff tunnel done at the same time as i be told i need to run a watts set up on the atlas as im going to be running coilovers?
i thought that was ok wth the 5 link set up?
mean finding a cheap watts kit? and having more welding done

ones the rear is all sorted i can more onto the front .
GAZ coilovers
remove anti dive
remove large anti roll bar mounts
remove anti roll bar
and replace with compression kit as i have been told this is the best thing to do on the front ?
i all ready have roller top mounts

SO FAR

ok sa far
just got the 5links back from powder coad and fitted the new yellow poly bushes and new dust covers
look really good in the the ford racing blue with yellow
sent the atlas axle of to powder coat
was thinking once its back i would rebuild the rear end and get of to welders to have large diff tunnel large gearbox tunnel and rollcage fitted
BUT as looking on the web i found a pic of a escort mk2 fitted with five links and it didnt look link mine

so i went to check and found that the 4 link tunnels are fitted wrong
they are to low under the car the mounts sit 3" lower then the body rail

so i now have to have the whole lot cut out and redone costing me more then just having it done as they now have to cut it all out and redo it

just hope everything is in the right place on the axle if not powder coating was a bad thing to do ;-(

have also order 9" cibie spots for the front now looking for the fogs

also have just ordered a hydraulic handbrake

slowly getting there but keep having things pop up that have been done wrong

do i mount all 3 brake res bottles under the bonnet 1 front 1 rear and 1 handbrake
do i just drill into bulk head and screw into place help please guys

also anyone know how to run a cable to rear calipers as its a road car
im running atlas axle that has had rear discs added mount plates to take escort mk3 front calipers and solid discs.

ok had the guy round today to check over the car fuxx me

4 link boxes wrong place so have to be cut out and replaced
turrets are in the wrong place and are to low so needs to be cut out and replaced
rear boot floor needs rewelding
panhard mount on axle split needs cutting of and replacing

so it was just a case of fitting rollcage
to replacing everything first

just ordered the 4 link boxes Ł40
coilover mounts Ł15
panhard mount Ł7.50
all ready have large gearbox tunnel
6point welded rollcage with crossbars Ł550

cut out and reweld
turrets
4 link boxes
large gearbox tunnel plus reworked bulk head to take cosworth
large diff tunnel front and rear
weld in the strut brace
weld coilover and panhard mounts
Ł550

so all in all nothing was done right so redoing everything

cost more but want it to be right.

cars is now booked in to have the welded rework do next week
once every thing is in the right place he will be fitting the rollcage

im having the main hoop then down to the front floor, top of the screen
then main hoop to the turrets with the cross bars
and having main hoop across both 4link boxes to diff tunnel

all of the above comes to Ł550

do i have the doors done or not? its only going to cost Ł30 per bar but i just dont know?

he is also making the mod to the bulk head to take cossie

and i have asked him to make me up a mount for the 4 cibies
so i can slide the frone nose cone over the mounts

i will be moding the front air scoops to take air tubes to the front brakes.
removing front grill panel and making my own.
