Amazing what a difference the rims make! on the steels it looks like work in progress but the wheels must boost the inspiration levels a bit. Nice choice.

im very happy with them
just need to fine a way to fit then

how to fit 5 x 114.3 wheels to a 4 x 108 hub?

im going to see if i can just redrill the new grp4 front hubs to that stub patten
and on the rear see if there is a way to make a plate up ????

it will be so worth the extra work no one else would have this set up

just finished the adjustable track control arm

and fitted the eccentric adj top mount

and fitted front coilovers

the wheels look the nuts mate but cant help thinking that a set of escort cossie rims would look the muts nuts,but excellent colour choice,thats the colour i was thinking 4 my xr2 but im still undecided,will wait and see how yours looks,gonna be stunning no matter what!!!! and cossie power is the way to go

rear wheel hub spacers 4 to 5stud done

front grp4 hubs 4 to 5stud done


new bonner locks

spent the day on the car
fitted the rear hubs
fitted front hubs but the 10mm spacers is to small wheel still hits the coilover
so have to want until tuesday to have a 50mm spacer made
fitted bonnet

fitted rear wheels

Hi great project dont worry about the missus they just dont understand us spending thousands on old cars wasnt sure about the wheels but they def work know but the bonnet vents dont look to good but the cibies just dont look good on nosecones sorry about me saying but im sure its gonna be one of the best on here well done mate the colour gonna shine

what a day
started by fitting the rs500 race intercooler
had to cut the front panel out





from the front i wanted more air

so cut a new hole

then my new spacers turned up
so fitted the would cuo crossmember,hubs, spacers, adjustable track control arms and steering rack



got my box gussets as well today

had a guy from work come round and start to weld the box gussets in and then started to do the mounts for the compression kit but half way though he run out of welding wire
i post me picture sunday

box gussets welding into place

about time,got the front will fitted tonight after the guy from work welded the box gussets he moved onto the compression strut mount only get one side done as run out of welding wire but he is back in the morning

not much left to do before she go's to paint now
just have to finish off setting up the front legs making sure nothing hits
bolt on doors check gaps
fit wings
adjust 5links
was so happy today to see the loooong days have paid off well happy with the look
