My mate dan used the car for around 2 years and had no problems whatsoever with it, car ran faultless and LOVED to be driven hard, was a credit to the lad he bough it off ian. really did build a good car.

over that 2 years though the Trust manifold wasnt the best quality and cracked, so was replaced wit ha stainless pro-tech manifold with stainless blue-flame decat.

the car was then taken for a remap back to northampton motorsport as it was running a bit rough.

then decided for a change in looks, the WRC stuff and the morrettes went, and were raplaced with standard items for a bit more of a factory look.

unfortuantley a wet moment caused a light back end and a bit of a coming together with some railings lol

needless to say the car came back painted and clean.

Didnt put Dan off though, Weitech coilovers where bought for the car, really freshened uyp the handling.

in the meantime dan bought a nissan terrano daily driver so the escort came off the road to be made into a track car and occasional road use.

over the last few weeks i've changed bottom end shells as it had an ever so slight knock, so better to be safe than sorry, full rollcage has been fitted into car, jsut needs plates welding in, interior totally stripped, and today some stage 2 cams have been fitted.

over the next few weeks the wheels will be painted satin black, car will be ran in and and have another oil change, cage plates welded in and jsut alot on general tidying ready for the vernier pulleys and remap on the 29th December.

will update wil lots of pics through the week, jsut got 2 tonight myself of a painted wheel we tryed to see what it looks like and a nice polished mocal oil catch tank.

should see 200bhp once set up hopefully i think, really strong motor this.

FUDGEY: manifold was about 200 quid i think with the postage and a decat, the decat wasnt upto much though sleeve was a bit short so a blueflame one was fab'd up with a longer sleeve on it, ian is a top bloke and built an awesome car its gone to a whole diff stage now though TBH stripped, coilies, caged and stage 2.

crying out for an LSD box when a decent one comes up and a decent steering wheel as the super nintendo one is gash lol
