hi everyone,
i am currently looking for somewhere decent to get my focus rs kit fitted and a full respray. some one has reccomended a place called xxxtreme in pinxton (nottingham) looks god but want to look around. does anyone have any recomendations?

i have a big question and hope its in the rite category. . i have a 1.6 focus and want to replace with an st170. what degree of difficulty am i lookin at and price for all the parts needed? im a bit stuck as i dont no much about this area and could really do with some help.

Knaphill coachworks in knaphill, woking, surrey used to take my RS there never met such a fussy manager, there panel beater is a south american doesnt speak any english but must of been born with a hammer in his hand! as hes the nuts! paint finish? Flat as Fook, no shit in the paintwork and their colour matches are spot on hope that helps

i know its not my thread but i was thinking about taking my saff to jacko how much roughly would a re-spray be if i took it as a shell (already stripped) ???

the price always depends on the work that needs to be done as my mint job and others mint job are not the same when i look at a finnished car it has to be perfectly flat and flawless paint or there is no point doing it in the first place

i would be looking at the end of october to be honenst. im still geting a few bits together and some money. works not goin so good at the moment but i defo want it done for the end of october

do not go to triple xxx please trust me i had my saxo done there and so did a mate there rubish i found loads of faults took it back 2 times to be repainted just dont go there

cheers everyone for your advice and thanks for the heads up about xxxtreme. i did go and see his work and it looked pretty good but u guys on here are spot on an have pbobably saved me from wasting my money with them.

Anyway i have had a change of plan and am prosponing the body work for now and hopefully get a 2.0 turbo dropped in the near future as the 1.6 wouldn pull u out of bed (1.6 as this is my first car and insurance is a killer )

big thanks to jacko for ur help and advice and hope to hear from u over the next month or so to get car booked in!!

yeah daveysaff i sat their for over an hour the other day reading the thread. . that car is unreal their is gona be a lot of jelouse focus drivers out their lol its made me get my arse into gear and get mine sorted. its funny u say that because im just talkin to gareth from their at the moment. hes only a stone throw away from ours. am gona pop in tomorrow and have a chat
