The weather strips are never water tight - all doors get water in them, and as such they have holes in the bottom of the doors to allow water to escape...
Of course tho, the strips (not seals) do wear over time and older cars will let more water in over time, so some new ones will make all the difference

Possibly yes. As said, no doors are water tight, hence why they should be well wax-oiled inside and have drainage holes. New strips should reduce the ammount of water getting in tho.
Trick with the strips on Fords is to keep them well lubricated as they do dry out and that kills them......

It's highly likely your floor has rotted due to battery tray leak - common on the 5's... Windscreens on 5's are just as likely to leak as on any car - they use the same bonding in process as an M3 or £50,000 Aston Martin. Same as the door leaks tho, over time old cars rust and the bond around the screen suffers because of this...

Aha! i was tryin to find where the water was comin from i had to look twice n still didn't belive it when i seen the water leakin from between the panels of the bulkhead, will it be leakin through the bolt holes of the battery tray or summit, n i'm guessin it'll be doin the same on the otherside cons both side are rotted slightly. i'm startin to hate leaks lol
