The car, a '86 Ford Sierra Is (Injection Sport I suppose), fitted with a t3 turbo, 4x4 intercooler, Haltech F5 (with builtin MAP-sensor) 330cc Bosch injector before
Will skip to the speclist, english was harder today then usual
Engine:
- Rebuilt feb 2007
- 205 (2222) block
- Cosworth pistons (measured, new rings & clips)
- Cosworth rods
- Cosworth headgasket
- New headbolts
- IS crank (measured, bought from Jenspeed, new bearings)
- New waterpump
- Cosworth radiator with fans and thermostat.
- New uprated oilpump, cosworth (whatever the word for oil sprayed from the underside is ) and pickup
- New cam, cam-bearings, valvelifters etc.
- Cosworth 2WD T3 turbo

- Supersprint exhaust from custom downpipe
- AP Racing sinter, new stock pressureplate
- Cossie driveshaft
Brakes, dampers etc
- Cosworth front & rear axle, with brakes
- Cosworth 7,52 (2wd) diff, velded

- Ferodo ds2500 front , nk rear brake pads
- Steelbraided brakehoses
- Polyrace brushings
- Coilovere suspension front
- Yellow koni rear

- 7.5x16" Azev A wheels, painted black
Interior:
- Recaro seats from saph. Cosworth
- Bolted cage, with main + reargoing struts
- Turbo, oilpressure and oiltemp guages
Car performed 240hp/340nm on the wheels @ 1 bar pressure
Some pics:
This is how it looked when I first bought it:
And this is pretty much how it looks now:
Further plans are:
-New clutch, old one is slipping
-Freshen the paint up
-Change rear and front bumpers
-New foglights/airducts to brakes(not sure what I'll do yet)
-Small things to get the car to either perform better or look better

Thanks Yep, us and the swedes use this engine for what it's worth. Haven't seen too many from you guys down south
EDIT: When I'm first posting, painted my new wheels couple of days ago. 7.5x16 Azev A's
And autobahn top speed test-spoiler; Norwegian style. Needs a chipboardplate and it's good to go

Nothing much, it's a everyday racer so things take time. But, tomorrow I'm replacing the slippery 4puck zinter with a 6puck model. Everything above 4k the piece of shit's slipping. Sunday 22. june I will attend a 201meter dragrace, aka street legal. What can I expect with this car ?
Some pictures also:
Mounted the new headlights, I will either mount my hella-grille, or buy a cosworth one. Time will tell
The new filter, the old one was full of sand and dust. When I turned it upside down the whole beach came out :S Sound was 100% better, and the car revved much nicer
Got to have a soundsystem in a everydaycruiser, amplifier isn't mounted in this pic. Cost me around 1000NOK, thats ~Ł124
Also since the clutch is slipping like a madman, I bough a set of new wheels from a mate. 990NOK(~Ł123) for 4 set with tires. Couldn't resist. These also makes burning rubber easyer.
And at the end, a female friend of mine baked me the best cake I've ever tasted. Yes, it reads FORD

Had my first dragrace today, 201m streetlegal. Rain was pouring down, so didn't get traction.
Times: ET Speed 60foot
1st: 11.341sek 114km/t(71mph) 2.886sek
2nd: 20.744sek 114km/t(71mph) 3.463sek (Obviously missed second gear)
3rd: 10.958sek 121km/t(75mph) 3.109sek
4th: 10.275sek 121km/t(75mph) 2.734sek
Just drove four times due to the weather, cancelled the whole thing.

And oh Kverna, that's a nice car. I have always had a thing for "sleeperish" Turbo-OHC Sierras.

I've had some problems with the car recently. Was about to change the fuelpump, but my father just wanted to check if the powercables were ok. They wasn't. The metal inside the contacts was gone.
So I fitted new contacts, and it fired right up. Saved me alot of work, and a pocketfull of money as well
Going out for a photoshoot together with a friends volvo, will post the pictures up later

Little update. Mounted the speedocable last night, but it wouldn't give me any reading. My thoughts goes to wrecked gears in the gearbox. Nothing big, but annoys me.
Mounted the oilcooler from burton, didn't get to the thermoblock today but tomorrows another day.
Rusty and banged up.
Knocked it flat so the cooler would fit better, and applied some rustprimer
Black paint.
I also got a package from kimmit-sport(s) today, dumpvalve and catchtank.
More to come tommorrow.
(GOD just couln't write good english today.. sorry)

Have done some more today. Mounted the dumpvalve and was going to mount the catchtank, but realized that I didn't have any good places to fit it. Have to move the headertank and the windsheildwiperfluidtank(). Also have to fabricate a bracket for it I think.
If I'm happy with the dump I will move it to the cold side, didn't have the right hose today.
Looks like shit, but think it works ok.
Mounted
Anyone got any pics of good catchtank-placement ?

Wahay!! I've lost my Virginity!!
Nice job, mate!
I want to do something like this in my '88 Sierra 2.0iS. Just troubled with injection system.
Would it be difficult to fit a Haltech ECU like yours? Are there all necessary sensors and parts?

The Haltech on my car is just to control the extra injector.
Some update is on it's place.
Since I can't get the bloody speedo to work I just as well bought a new "fotoboksvarsler". Thats norwegian for some gadget which tells you when your approaching a traffic control box, or what you call it. It also gives you the exact realtime reading of the speed, the part I'm interested in.
Before
Out goes the old speedo, testfitting the new.
Cut and fit on a chipboardplate
Sĺ břyde jeg til to rammer av patentbĺnd.
Bought some vinyl and some sprayglue..
..and stuck it all together
třrker
Done
Testfitted
Just a small test inside, will post vid from the car tomorrow

Haven't done anything lately other than starting at work after vacation, but bought a new cam for trackdays. Did a little test this morning, driving to work. I can't wait for aug. 3rd when I'm going on the track.

Also, I need a new tacho. I love the org. to death but it won't keep up with the revs, and generally lives it's own life. Someone got any good ones to fit ? Not those huge ones with shiftlight, want to fit it in the org. place. Thanks
