Question Fiesta MK2 Sport Project

Well Where do I start, MK2 Sport. Sleeper or XR2 Rep, Uprate engine or replace with something stupid.

Its a great bit of fun and amazing with promise, just need ideas?

I know you all have your flashy cossies and mondeos but i think this is easier and alot more laughes.

Oh thank god for ebay because finding bits is a complete cow in norfolk.

what do you mean Mk2 sport?

they did Mk1 sports, the old 1.1 and 1.3 70 bhp

But Mk2, dont remeber a sport?

There was a 1.4 S model, was never really popular.

My advice would be dont spend any money on it unless its something worth saving like a supersport.

Go buy something newer that will run rings round it any day, and will still only cost sub £1500...

It is a 1.4 S, first comment for this tread and already my bubbles burst.

I must admit though i would of prefered a XR2 but its clean and been in france (first ford that didnt need a jab after rubbing my hand on inner arch)

Cheers

I am looking at the easiest because cars like mine under new law, has a high CO2 level and zetec/turbo (Ka or MK5) is the better option for the project.

Hell i might as well scrap it or sell it. Bloody Government

Zetec is the better, gearbox and wiring loom. Not quite shore what else. Well if the engine drives off and leaves the shell behind, Ill know somethings not quiet up.

The feed back is good, pics will be arriving soon (lost camera)
